Focus Areas

Sarah works in collaboration with Fiduciary Trust Investment Officers and outside legal counsel to advise clients on all aspects of estate and wealth transfer planning. She also counsels trustees and trust beneficiaries with respect to tax and fiduciary matters, and assists with the settlement of estates.

Experience

Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust Company, Sarah was a partner in the Private Clients and Fiduciary Services Group at Verrill Dana, LLP, where she advised individuals and families on a broad range of matters, including the development and implementation of comprehensive, tax efficient estate plans and lifetime gifting strategies designed to preserve and protect family wealth. She also has experience in estate planning for non-U.S. citizens and involving non-U.S. assets and foreign trusts. Sarah began her career at Choate, Hall & Stewart, LLP, where she was an associate in the Wealth Management Group.
