Joel helps families manage wealth, with an emphasis on tailoring investment strategies to align with unique client needs and preferences. He also serves as Head of Nonprofits, where he plays a leadership role with our foundation & nonprofit clients. Enabled by our distinctive business model, what he enjoys most is truly putting clients’ interests first and helping them to develop a thoughtful and realistic path towards realizing their various goals.
Before joining Fiduciary Trust, Joel was a client portfolio manager at The Boston Company where he worked with a variety of clients around the world, was a member of the asset allocation committee, and provided thought leadership through presenting at conferences and authoring white papers. His additional professional experiences include Fidelity Investments, Wellington Management, McKinsey & Company, and Deloitte & Touche, and RINET Company.
Joel has authored multiple white papers on investment management and provided investment training to pension, endowment and foundation professionals at conferences. His most recent material includes:
